The Office Designer.com is an online community for interior design professionals, students and industry players who are passionate about workplace design and renovation.

It started as a blog site in 2018 and has evolved into a full-fledged social community website by integrating new features like online networking, events management and activity-based engagement for all its members.

The website serves as a platform to share industry knowledge and information about the latest trends in office design and renovation. Our objective is to collaborate with a group of like-minded individuals. Those who are prominent players in the office interior design industry, to create “a workplace-centric” resource environment on the internet.

The site is all about engagement. It is important for every member to share information, knowledge and experience to make this platform work. We would like to invite other interior design professional, students and industry players to share on this site. Our online community members are welcome to submit a blog, vlog or showcase past works.

About the Editor

The person behind the Office Designer.com is Mr. James Paul who is currently the editor and contributor of the site. An Architect by training and a workplace interior designer by profession.

He has an entrepreneurial mind with a passion for blogging and digital marketing. James Paul is also a leading influencer for interior design and an active contributor on Linkedin.

James Paul is also a council member for the Society of Interior Designers Singapore. Editorial Committee.

Our Sense of Purpose

It all started with a problem. Besides searching in Google and reading articles on Linkedin. There has never been a central platform for workplace interior design and renovation in Singapore. Is it because the market is too small? Or because there is not enough interest in this field?

On the contrary, The industry is booming and there is a void waiting to be filled. Anyway, you do not need an expensive and complicated platform to add “VALUE “ to the target audience.

The Office Designer.com will change all that. Our goal is to address this issue by hosting an online community to unify all stakeholders like interior designers, contractors, vendors, property managers, facility managers and even students to collaborate and share valuable knowledge and information about the latest trends and technology in the modern workplace.

The key is Industry Collaboration and “NOT” competition between stakeholders

Our Target Audience

The Office Designer.com is structured to work with all parts of the value chain. From industry professionals like interior designers, architects, engineers, to material suppliers, furniture vendors and contractors. 

Lately, we integrated two more member groups to embrace the full spectrum of the industry. The Auxiliary members which consist of project managers, facility managers and property agents.  More importantly, we also encourage design students to join as Youth members to prepare them for the industry ahead.  

With this broad audience. The Office Designer.com aims to provide a vibrant and well engaged online community.
